The City of Krakow has become a Partner of the anniversary edition of CINTiA 2026, co-organised by the AGH Faculty of Computer Science. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to connecting the potential of Krakow's academic community with the development of modern technologies, research and development activities, and effective cooperation between academia and its socio-economic environment.

Krakow is one of Poland's leading academic centres, with science and higher education playing an integral role in the city's development for centuries. Its strong network of universities and research institutions, highly qualified human capital, and growing knowledge-based economy create favourable conditions for innovation and contribute to the competitiveness of the entire region.

An important element of Krakow's development is its modern services and research and development sector. The city also places strong emphasis on effective cooperation between academia and business, enabling academic expertise to be combined with industry experience and the needs of the contemporary economy.

CINTiA 2026 is part of this collaborative ecosystem. The conference provides a platform for presenting research results, exchanging knowledge and experience, and bringing together members of the scientific community working in computer science and modern technologies. Hosting the event in Krakow also highlights the role of the local academic community in advancing research and developing expertise in ICT.

For the AGH Faculty of Computer Science, the partnership with the City of Krakow provides another opportunity to strengthen the links between science, technology and the economy. As one of Krakow's leading centres for education and research in computer science, the Faculty aims to actively contribute to an ecosystem in which academic knowledge can support technological development and translate into practical applications.

While remaining firmly rooted in its historical heritage, Krakow continues to develop its scientific, technological and economic potential. Sustainable development, effective use of local resources, and cooperation between academia and business remain important elements of this process.
