New ICDM 2025 Workshop: Open World Anomaly Detection – Call for Papers Now Open!
Detecting anomalies in complex and dynamic real-world environments is a fundamental challenge for artificial intelligence today. To address this, the upcoming IEEE ICDM 2025 will host a workshop titled "Open World Anomaly Detection in Dynamic and Complex Environments."
This workshop focuses on state-of-the-art methods for anomaly detection under conditions where data distributions evolve, new patterns emerge, and systems must continuously adapt to unexpected changes.
Topics of interest include:
→ novelty and open-set detection,
→ continual and adaptive learning,
→ anomaly detection in real-world and streaming data,
→ explainability and robustness of AI systems in dynamic settings.
The organizers invite submissions of high-quality research papers. The Call for Papers is open until August 29, 2025. Both theoretical and applied contributions are welcome, particularly those tackling the challenges of anomaly detection in realistic and demanding domains.
The workshop aims to foster collaboration across disciplines, encouraging knowledge exchange between academic and industry researchers working on building resilient and trustworthy AI systems.
