Students from the Faculty of Computer Science at AGH University of Science and Technology are participating in the international Erasmus+ AI Interior project, which aims to use artificial intelligence tools in the field of interior design. The partners of the project include the Krakow University of Technology, the Milan Polytechnic, CEU San Pablo University in Spain, and RISEBA University of Applied Sciences in Riga.

The project focuses on developing an application that enables the generation of images depicting interior designs using AI models. The software being developed will not only allow for the creation of attractive visualizations, but also for the adaptation of designs to individual user requirements, taking into account aspects of inclusivity, aesthetics, and sustainable development.

At the beginning of the semester, workshops were held during which students from the Faculty of Computer Science at AGH University of Science and Technology supported their partners from architecture departments in the use of artificial intelligence tools. Currently, the team is focusing on the development of dedicated software that enables data analysis, generation and modification of design concepts, their storage, as well as personalization of solutions.

Next semester, a trip to Valencia is planned, where students will have the opportunity to continue working on the application, test its functionality, and collaborate with international project teams.
