This two-year program prepares highly qualified HPC specialists ready to work in academia, research centers, supercomputing centers, and industry. Students acquire expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence, large-scale computing, data analytics, system architecture, computational performance optimization, and quantum computing.

The first year of study provides a solid foundation in High-Performance Computing (HPC). It requires students to undertake their studies in a country different from the one in which they obtained their Bachelor's degree (or equivalent undergraduate degree in engineering). For graduates of first-cycle degree programs in Poland, this may be one of the following partner universities:

University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg,
Friedrich-Alexander Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany,
- Sorbonne Université, France
Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain,
Politecnico di Milano, Italy,
Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria,
Freie Universität Berlin, Germany,
VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The second year of study is dedicated to acquiring specialized knowledge in the field of HPC, selecting a Master's thesis topic, conducting research related to the thesis, and writing the thesis itself. The second year must be completed at a different partner university.

EUMaster4HPC is an international study program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience gained through internships and the completion of a Master's thesis in a European, multidisciplinary environment. Visit the program website to learn more: https://eumaster4hpc.eu/
